- antique plating is made by dying the metal black first, then spraying it with gold, so a few spots and streaks of discoloration on the metal is normal.

- A - Grade: almost perfect, but may have small, undetectable scratches on the enamel or metal
- B Grade: missing or slightly faded screen printing in a small area, and more prominent discoloration on the metal cone for antique plating
